Long Hill Energy Center

The Long Hill Energy Center is a proposed 20 megawatt / 80 megawatt-hour energy storage project that will interconnect to an existing Dooley Substation. At peak output, this project will discharge the electricity necessary to power nearly 15,000 homes for a 4 hour period.

The project will be sited on approximately 2.5 acres of industrial land located to the west of Main street along Long Hill Road.

Safety

Safety is East Point Energy’s top priority  the safety of our projects, environment, and communities in which our projects are located. The project will adhere to all relevant codes and standards for battery energy storage systems consistent with industry standards. We will coordinate closely with the Middletown Volunteer Fire and Rescue.

The American Clean Power Association (ACP) created this resource to highlight the industry’s commitment to rigorous safety standards and partnerships with the fire service that guide planning, developing, and operating each energy storage project.
